Probationary Officer ----> Substitutional Officer
A Probationary Officer is supposed to carry those trainings which were assigned to him during his institutional training but at branches the story is totally different. He will become a Substitutional and sometimes Pending Officer in branches. All branches do have pending work all the time and Probationary Officer is that Ordinary person who can't deny. Along with that in all branches people will be taking leaves rotationally and one person is there who will be occupying all those seats rotationally - Probationary Officer. In last 7 days including today I have been given Fixed Deposit Seat (1 day), Transfer Seat (1 day), Government Section Scroll Seat (1 day), Government Section Transfer Seat (1 day); that time I was Substitutional Officer. Another day I was given a list to check account status (Pending Officer).

Your earliest reply will be highly appreciated.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteState Bank requires Graduation as essential qualification which you are possessing. Now if you are having any other qualification it is better for you. It will not make any difference at the starting stage but will be considered in Interview time.
You clearly mention that you have done ICWAI Inter. But remain prepare for the questions on the same. In the Professional Qualification column itself mention anywhere that you have done up to Inter.
Dear Sir,
ReplyDeleteIf we got selected as a PO, we ll be placed in same district or somewhere else.

I am computer science post graduate . do I qualify for the PO examination ?
ReplyDeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteThrough this I want to bring forward to your notice of some EXSM bretherns plight. The EX Servicemen joined in banks in clerical cadre can have Pay Protection as per Govt rule.
The correct and latest order regarding pay protection of EXSM from DOPT is clarified in “No. 3/19/2009-Estt. (Pay II) Dated 5th Apr 2010” OM pertaining Re-employed EXSM, which can be easily found in DOPT site or can be googled.
As long as EXSM employed in Banks are concerned, DA on pension has to be surrendered , if they are opting for pay protection. This can be further clarified in PCDA site, “http://pcdapension.nic.in/pp/expectation.htm”.
Many Banks though allowing pay protection to EXSM employees, but deduction of DA on pension is not ensured. Despite clear instructions form PCDA, RBI, some EXSM employees hide or supress the facts from their PDAs. This leads to confusion among other EXSM employees whether to forgo DA on pension or put false life certificates.
Some even question the module of recovering excess amounts already received by them as DA on pension and refrain others that nothing will happen and proclaim PCDA or Banks can never recover the already paid amounts .
Already letters to Dept of Economic Affairs and Dept of Financial Services have been written. All banks are requested to provide data on the number of EXSM employed with them and whether their DA on pension has been surrendered to concerned Dept , if they have been pay protected , has been asked through RTI.
With a conservative estimate the loss to exchequer may well exceed Rs 50-130 crores. Banks should take strict and uniform action in pay protecting EXSM employees and should ensure DA on their pension is deducted. This can save money to respective banks as well as Govt. and give an even platform for all EXSM employed in all banks devoid of any confusion while applying for pay protection. This will also bring down employee cost to banks considerably.
Thanking you.
